Moving in Hoek van Holland: the housing
With 73% single-family houses among about 5,914 homes (CBS), Hoek van Holland is mostly low-rise. A moving lift is needed less often than in a city, but attics and narrow stairs still decide how long a move takes.
Before you leave Hoek van Holland, remember to deregister with the municipality of Rotterdam if you emigrate; its website explains from which date that is possible. If your new home abroad is not ready yet, your belongings can wait in our storage in Maasdijk.
