Moving in Wassenaar: the housing
With 71% single-family houses among about 12,367 homes (CBS), Wassenaar is mostly low-rise. A moving lift is needed less often than in a city, but attics and narrow stairs still decide how long a move takes.
Before you leave Wassenaar, remember to deregister with the municipality of Wassenaar if you emigrate; its website explains from which date that is possible. If your new home abroad is not ready yet, your belongings can wait in our storage in Maasdijk.
